Children's Aid
The Children’s Aid Society believes that all kids have limitless potential. To that end, we have built ourselves into a professional powerhouse of solutions for children, youth, and families in targeted low-income neighborhoods. We know what it takes to ensure children grow up strong and healthy, and ready to thrive at every level of school and in life: excellent academic and social-emotional learning, health care, and strong, stable families.
Since our founder created the first iteration of a child welfare system, in 1853, Children’s Aid Society has been an innovative organization—one of the first to embrace Head Start programming and a pioneer in the community school movement, to name just two examples—and a partner to allies locally and nationally to see strong practices spread widely.
