Arizona’s Children Association was originally founded in Tucson in 1912 as Arizona’s Children’s Home to care for homeless, neglected and dependent children. To meet the changing needs of children, we developed a wider scope of services that extended far beyond the residential program in Tucson. For more than 100 years, we’ve stayed true to our mission of “Protecting Children, Empowering Youth, and Strengthening Families.”

Today, we are one of the oldest and largest statewide comprehensive child welfare and behavioral health nonprofit agencies in Arizona. We provide a broad spectrum of services that help create and sustain a healthy family environment. Each program is tailored to meet the needs of a particular child, individual or family.  Located in all 15 Arizona counties, we provide a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of more than 40,000 children, youth and families each year.
